Everyone wants to see Yellowstone’s spectacular animal inhabitants when they come visit, and we can help you make that wish a reality.
Yellowstone Day Adventures offer a convenient, family-friendly wildlife watching experience. Our expert naturalist guides will know just where to go to make the most of your time in the park.
Instructors: Yellowstone Forever Institute Staff
Dates: Summer tours run May 28 – August 29, 2019.
We’ll pick you up at dawn, when the wildlife action is at its peak, and head out to Yellowstone’s Lamar Valley. We’ll keep an eye out for the usual suspects including bears, elk, pronghorn, and bison, as well as the park’s famous wolf packs.
Along the way, you’ll enjoy in-depth, facilitated group discussions based on your interests as well as fascinating commentary on the behavior and ecology of Yellowstone’s wildlife. We’ll also enhance your experience with the use of state-of-the-art spotting scopes and the latest digiscoping technology, which allows you to capture what you’re seeing in the scope on your smartphone.
Tours operate Tuesdays and Thursdays during the summer season. Tours include early morning pickups in Gardiner, Montana, breakfast and hot beverages, expert instruction, all transportation, scopes and binoculars, and digiscoping equipment.
