In June, historic flooding temporarily closed Yellowstone National Park and caused extensive damage to numerous roads and bridges. Rapid recovery efforts allowed us to resume the majority of our educational programs in the park, including Private Tours and Lodging & Learning. While damage to the road through the Lamar Valley and the necessary road closure prevented us from resuming Field Seminars this summer, we are now ready to offer these programs again.
We are excited to announce 10 winter Field Seminars that will take place at the Lamar Buffalo Ranch, including four sessions of our extremely popular Lamar Valley Wolf Week. Registration for members will open on Monday, August 22 at 9:00 a.m. MT. General registration begins one week later.
Yellowstone Forever Institute Field Seminar offerings for winter 2022-2023 include such popular programs as Christmas in Lamar, Yellowstone Winter Naturalist Certification, and Lamar Valley Wolf Week.
New for this winter–all Field Seminars include catered meals and there is an option to add a shuttle from the Bozeman Airport to and from your program.
In addition to Field Seminars, we are also accepting reservations for winter Private Tours and winter Lodging & Learning programs (offered in partnership with Yellowstone National Park Lodges).
We look forward to sharing information about Yellowstone Forever Institute summer 2023 programs with you soon.
Thank you for your continued support, and we hope to see you in Yellowstone!
