Yellowstone's Northern Range is alive with the abundance of wildlife. Animals have become active in the spring, wildflower begin to bloom, and creeks are filling with snowmelt. Baby animals—from bison and elk calves to bear cubs and baby birds—are starting to leave behind the the pullouts and boardwalks and venture into the backcountry of the Northern Range, an area teeming with new life. You'll begin your first evening at the historic Lamar Buffalo Ranch with an evening session that will cover safety and preparation. The next days will be spent hiking and camping in the backcountry of Yellowstone's Northern Range.
