What more peaceful way is there to experience Yellowstone than under its winter night sky? Join us for a few evenings of cross-country skiing under January’s Wolf Moon. We will begin with a late afternoon orientation followed by a break for dinner, then take off on our first moonlit ski. We will spend mornings wildlife watching roadside, while discussing the intricacies of wolf ecology in Yellowstone. Short afternoon skis out onto the landscape of wolves will allow us to search for tracks, discuss behavior, winter adaptions, and the fascinating stories we have learned from these majestic animals. All abilities are welcome, all that is required is a willingness to try and a curiosity of wolves; I can't wait to share my love for both to you!
