Infrared Laser Thermometer Demonstration

You may be surprised that we use lasers in many of our Yellowstone Forever Institute programs. That’s right, lasers! Infrared laser thermometers help to determine the temperatures of the wide variety of thermal features in the park. Senior Naturalist Brad Bulin shows us how and why they are used in this brief video from Mammoth Hot Springs.
