Yellowstone STEAM Teacher Workshops

Yellowstone STEAM Teacher Workshops

This year Yellowstone National Park is offering two STEAM Teacher Workshops taught collaboratively between Yellowstone Forever and National Park Service. These workshops are designed to help teachers discover innovative ways to incorporate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) into their classrooms. With Yellowstone National Park as the classroom, participants will learn how to use both traditional and innovative methods to incorporate art into STEM lessons. Throughout the workshop, you’ll explore new ideas and strategies while networking with other educators on best practices for cross-curricular design.

We will be hosting two sessions this summer:

Session 1: Monday, June 24 to Friday, June 28

Session 2: Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12

A $200 registration fee is required if you are selected to attend. Following the course, teachers who submit a final project will be awarded a $200 stipend.

Semester credits or renewal units are available for additional fees.

Food and shared lodging are included.

This year’s applications are due Sunday, March 31, 2024. Selected teachers will be notified by Friday, April 5, 2024 via email.
