Yellowstone Training Academy
Yellowstone National Park continues to experience increased visitation and changing use patterns. Making sure that everyone within the Yellowstone community who serves visitorsâthose who provide information, education, and recreational experiencesâdo so in a way that supports park regulations and visitor use initiatives is a high priority for the park.
The in-depth training provided for partners covers crucial topics such as visitor safety and enjoyment, protection of resources, and ongoing stewardship. Through the Yellowstone Training Academy, the park can promote the awareness of cultural and natural resources, as well as enhance the knowledge and scientific understanding of Yellowstoneâs resources and wildlife. This is achieved through collaboration with professors from various universities, master naturalists, cultural speakers, and experts from partner agencies.
Yellowstoneâs success is predicated on strong partnerships, and the Yellowstone Training Academy is instrumental in disseminating the most current and critical information for all who share in the commitment of the National Park Service mission.
