One of the best ways to experience Yellowstone is through a Private Tour. Offered throughout the year, Private Tours provide a fascinating way to see the many facets of Yellowstone—from the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone to geysers and mud pots to wolves in winter. Our Private Tours are perfect for a personal visit, a family reunion, or an organized group. Choose a one day tour or combine several days with comfortable lodging at the Overlook Field Campus. Our Private Tours include your own naturalist guide, in-park transportation and use of professional spotting scopes. We provide drinks, but do ask that you provide your own meals.

Imagine this: you’re on a ridgeline overlooking the Lamar Valley. Next to you, a wolf biologist whispers “Look down there!” As you peer through your binoculars you see a pack of wolves on the move. That’s just one exciting possible scenario with our Field Seminars. They present an in-depth way to experience Yellowstone. You’ll learn hidden secrets of the park alongside experts, such as an animal tracker, a photographer, or a geothermal scientist, among others. We combine field excursions and classroom presentations to give you a complete overview of the Yellowstone ecosystem. Most Field Seminars are offered at the historic Lamar Buffalo Ranch Field Campus in Yellowstone’s remote and wild northeastern corner. Minimum age is 18 unless otherwise noted. For classes with a minimum of 18, children ages 16 and older are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Youth, College, & Teacher Programs
For many, a visit to Yellowstone is the beginning of a lifelong connection to national parks. Discovery and exploration are awakened by geysers, waterfalls, and wildlife. Yellowstone Forever offers programs for middle-school through college-age groups that engage the next generation of park stewards by providing life-changing experiences in the park. Additionally, we offer teacher-specific initiatives, such as teacher workshops and financial aid to attend one of our Field Seminars. Youth and teachers are eligible to apply for financial aid. Youth coordinators and teachers ready to plan their youth program can get started by reviewing our School/Youth Program Planning Guide. Those already registered for a youth program should fill out the Pre-program Student Information Form at least 30 days prior to their program.
