SUMMER FIELD SEMINARS

Explore Yellowstone’s vibrant summer landscape through our Summer Field Seminars, offered at both the Lamar Buffalo Ranch in Lamar Valley and in Gardiner, Montana, at the park’s north entrance. These in-depth programs cover a wide range of topics—from wildlife behavior and ecology to photography, tracking, geology, and more.

Led by subject matter experts including scientists, naturalists, professors, artists, and acclaimed photographers, each seminar combines hands-on field experiences with engaging instruction. Whether you’re a lifelong learner or a first-time visitor, these seminars offer a unique opportunity to connect deeply with Yellowstone’s dynamic summer ecosystem.
